Class Overview
Jung’s view of individuation and the Self and Isabel Myers’ view on type development provide a set of useful tools for the counseling process. This workshop gives counselors an in-depth look at using the principles of type in counseling and therapy.
Individuals taking this program should have a Master’s degree or higher in a field that trains the degree holder in counseling or psychotherapy (e.g., counseling, social work, clinical or counseling psychology) AND ALSO be an eligible or certified user of the MBTI instrument. An eligible or certified user meets the Prior Knowledge and Experience requirements listed below.
The first day includes a review of the MBTI® Step I™ and Step II™ assessments. For those who are eligible to purchase the MBTI assessment, this class can serve as one way of demonstrating one’s preparedness to register for the MBTI® Step III™ Certification Program.
