Class Overview
The MBTI® Step I™ instrument has long been used successfully in team-building activities. Now it’s time to add the power of the MBTI Step II instrument to your set of skills. Step II results helps both type-diverse and type-alike teams, by identifying specific behavioral differences that may lead to misunderstandings and by clarifying how individuals with the same types may still differ in important ways.
Team members find the specific Step II facets useful in understanding both their own and others’ behaviors, as well as learning ways to incorporate different viewpoints. This session will include a model to use in MBTI-based team building, information on when not to use type in teams, and multiple activities to help participants use the Step II assessment with their teams.
Participants should have an understanding of the Step II assessment and bring their Step II results with them. There will be the opportunity to try out a number of team exercises.
