Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt. Orders placed after 3:00 pm EST will be shipped the following business day. Items may be returned for credit within 30 days of shipping date. The original shipping charge will be assessed on all customer returns. Returned materials must be sent at customer's expense accompanied by the original invoice number, and must be suitable for resale. Plastic wrapped items must be returned unopened. Opened computer products or reproducible masters are not accepted for return, but will be replaced if defective. There will be a 10% restocking charge for all items returned after 30 days. Please carefully inspect your product upon receipt. No item may be returned after 90 days. We recommend for your protection that returned items be sent to CAPT via UPS, Certified Mail, or some other traceable method.
You are responsible for any and all customs fees, duties, and taxes assessed by the country of destination on shipments from CAPT. For information on customs, duties, and taxes please contact the customs agency of the country of destination. (CAPT does not track these charges and they differ from country to country.)
International packages will be labeled as "educational materials" or as "books", and the value will be declared as the amount of the order. CAPT sends all international shipments via United Parcel Service (UPS). CAPT will not refund any shipping charges placed on international orders.
Lost or Damaged Shipments

Libraries, Bookstores, and Distributors
We offer a 40% discount from the retail catalog price on items published by CAPT, not on DISTRIBUTED items. Libraries are exempt from prepayment but a purchase order is required. Bookstores and distributors must prepay.
We maintain files of CAPT approved restricted material purchasers. Customers who wish to buy restricted MBTI materials must submit the CAPT Statement of Professional Qualifications form to be approved before their order will be processed.
Limitation of Liability
CAPT will not be responsible or liable for the use or misuse of the materials or services offered in this catalog. The purchaser/user assumes all responsibility for use or misuse of the same. CAPT will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due in whole or in part to any cause beyond its reasonable control.
CAPT makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will CAPT nor anyone else who has been involved in the creation or production of any of the printed works or software listed in this catalog or otherwise sold by CAPT be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of the purchase or use of the materials or services from this catalog notwithstanding any other provision or agreement between customer and CAPT. The customer's sole and exclusive remedy shall be correction or replacement of the printed work or of the software.
CAPT reserves the right to aggregate non-person specific data obtained from the processing of CAPT products and to utilize those data for research and/or statistical purposes. Terms of Payment

Permission to Reproduce Materials
Permission to reproduce from any item in this catalog must come
from the publisher of that particular item. All publications
of the Center for Applications of Psychological Type are copyrighted.
Their reproduction, in whole or in part, by any process whatsoever,
is in violation of copyright law unless prior written authorization
has been obtained from the publisher. A moderate fee will usually
be charged, depending on the number of copies needed and the
quantity of material. CAPT is bound by author contracts to take
prompt legal action against copyright violations.
When and How to Apply -
